From the location near the village of Tsarski vrah, an interesting historical legend is connected. According to it, precisely there in 335 BC. e. there was a battle between the army of the Macedonian king Alexander III of Macedon and a local Thracian ruler. This happened during the campaign of the Macedonian king against the Thracian tribe Thracian Tribes in Moesia. It is assumed that Borutsitsa was founded in 1323, during the time of Tsar Michael Shishman. Towards the end of the 14th century, refugees from Boruy (Stara Zagora) settled in it, fleeing after the conquest of the city by the Turks in 1371. Probably, this event is also connected with the origin of the name of the village (from Boruy).Other assumptions about the origin of the name are from the tree "bor", as there were once large pine forests around the village. Today, there are no pine trees in the Stara Planina, but excavations in the region and written sources show that such forests existed in the past. During the Ottoman rule, in addition to the Bulgarian name, the Turkish name of the village was also used - Burek dire.
The village of Borutschiza is located in mountainous region - on the southern slope of Old Mountain, 50 km north of Stara Zagora and 40 km west of Kazanlak. The altitude of the railway station is 720 meters. The people make a living by growing potatoes, beans and a small amount of sheep; they also produce plum rakia. The local population works mainly in the structures of Bulgarian State Railways. The railway line Dabovo - Tsareva Livada - Gorna Oryahovitsa passes through the village. The two neighboring villages are Raduntsi (known for its sanatorium for tuberculosis) and Krustets. Krustets is located on the ridge of Stara Planina and the pedestrian tourist route Com Emine passes through it.The forests in the area are both deciduous and mixed (deciduous and coniferous). Beech and hornbeam predominate. Almost all herbs characteristic of Bulgarian mountains are found, as well as many forest fruits and mushrooms. 3 km south of the village is the cave Toplata Dupka.

Memories and stories from local residents of the village of Borushtitsa.
The beginning - labor - 1939
His Majesty labor gives birth to all the blessings of humanity and not only them. How I met, got acquainted, and communicated with him.
The first meeting I remember with him happened very early and quite risky and comical. This happened in the spring of 1939. My uncle Ivan, the youngest of the four brothers of my father, whom I am named after (he had a sister Ivanka - his twin), sent me to the village fountain, about 30 meters from my father's yard,
In recent years, there has been a powerful and undisguised morbidity among students. But the conjuncture is also sick. There is no visibility for what is much more pandemic than the last wave of the other disease. Children are more than sick, they are already chronically ill. Forever. Cognitive abilities are forged in childhood and this is irreversible, with the responsibility for this ability being on the health and functions of the lungs...
