OBJECTIVES OF THE FOUNDATION
1. To contribute to the renewal and development of the village of
Borushtitsa;
2. To uphold the rule of law as a condition for economic prosperity and
democratic governance;
3. To actively participate in the development of national legislation ensuring
the sustainable development of a transparent business environment and
democratic governance;
4. To work for strengthening civil society, the private economic sector and
democratic institutions in the country;
5. To promote the initiation of forward-looking policies at local, regional,
national and transnational levels;
6. To support education, research, invention, innovation and coordination
activities;
7. To facilitate the creation, acquisition, transfer and distribution of
information, knowledge, skills, useful practices, experience and know-how in
the fields of education, science, technology, arts, economics, management,
ecology, tourism, health, spatial planning, investment design and construction;
8. To promote interaction and cooperation between people from different
countries and cultures for the common good, human rights and universal human
values;
9. To catalyze joint national and transnational projects in the fields of
engineering, education, science, technology, architecture, arts, economics, governance,
ecology, tourism and health;
10. To contribute to the protection of the environment, nature and climate,
including updating and developing environmental and climate policy and
legislation, promoting resource efficiency, conserving biodiversity, effective
environmental and climate information management, climate change mitigation,
climate change adaptation;
11. To alert the local and central authorities in case of any irregularities
regarding the misuse of the village infrastructure;
12. To undertake and promote initiatives for the development of organic farming
and animal husbandry;
13. To contribute to the development and upgrading of information resources,
facilities, technological capacity and expertise to meet objectives (1) to (13).
ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
Borushchitsa Foundation was established on 14.08.2020 by
architect-engineer Stoyan
Georgiev Todorov, Borushtitsa, Muglizh municipality, Stara Zagora region,
Bulgaria. The Foundation is an independent non-profit legal entity, operating
for public benefit with "Headquarters and management address: Borushtitsa
village, Muglizh municipality, Stara Zagora region, postal code: 6187, UIC:
206232025".
FOUNDATION ACTIVITIES
1. Undertakes initiatives for renewal and development of
Borushtitsa village, including improvement of engineering infrastructure,
architecture, ecological conditions, social services and business conditions;
2. Initiates and develops project proposals and participates in the
implementation of projects in the areas of its objectives, including
transformational, educational, research, development, inventive, innovative,
coordinating and supporting;
3. Develops analyses, approaches, concepts, strategies and roadmaps for the implementation
of specific policies in different areas;
4. Organization and participation in public forums, including conferences,
symposia, seminars, webinars, roundtables, schools and training courses;
5. Produces and publishes brochures, newsletters, films and other informative
material in relation to its activities, including on analogue and digital
media, and on the Internet;
6. Participates in targeted partnerships and networks in the areas of its
objectives;
7. Initiates forward-looking policies at local, regional, national and
transnational levels;
8. Provides capabilities, including tangible and intangible assets, expertise
and human resources in implementing initiatives to achieve its objectives;
9. Provides advice on matters within its areas of activity.
10. Maintains proactive contacts with institutions and organizations in the
country and abroad to exchange information on best practices and implement
established procedures.
11. Works to include the entire land area of Borushtitsa village within the
boundaries of "Bulgarka" Natural Park and the protected area
BG0000399 under Directive 2009/147/EC of the European Parliament and of its
Council of 30 November 2009 on the conservation of wild birds and under Council
Directive 92/43/EEC of 21 May 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and
of wild fauna and flora of the "Natura 2000" ecological network.
12. Conduct any other activity not prohibited by law to achieve its objectives.
13. The procedure for the implementation of the public benefit activities shall
be governed by the Internal Rules of the FOUNDATION.
